Fringe; 1 month after
It’s been a month since the end of Oppo at the Fringe festival and much rest has been needed. In the next coming weeks many updates and upgrades to the site will be made. Check back for any news soon.
Countdown to Fringe/Décompte….le Fringe s’en vient!
Nous sommes le premier mai et tranquillement le Fringe se pointe à l’horizon…Ici à Imbroglio nous nous affairons à retravailler notre site web afin que vous puissiez trouver toute l’information dont vous avez besoin facilement! Nous avons concocté, spécialement pour vous, une page Fringe contenant toute l’information utile comme les dates de spectacles ainsi que les prix des billets. Parlant du spectacle, sachez que celui-ci s’en vient très bien, nous passons la majorité de nos temps libre soit en studio soit devant nos ordinateurs. Nous avons bien hâte de vous présenter le tout!
It’s May 21st and the Fringe is on the horizon, here at Imbroglio we’re putting the rest of the press and program information together up on the website. We have a Fringe page to centralize all the necessary information including show times and ticket prices. The show is coming along quite well and we’re spending most of our free time either in the studio or in front of our computers.
We will be performing at the end of the month at the Fringe Festival’s Fringe For All on May 21st, at Cafe Campus. As the date gets closer we’ll post more information.
From now on new info and content will be posted on the website very frequently including French translations and some photo’s we’d like to share.
Bare Bones Dance
Imbroglio would like to announce our newest member to our crew, Pierre Hache who is working with us on our latest project now with the working title ‘Money Bag‘. Pierre Hache is a Concordia University graduate in music, his weapon of choice: the drum set.
An excerpt of ‘Money Bag’ will be shown this Saturday, February 27th in Bare Bones Dance, a part of the series of Griffontown: Developing Culture, a registered Nuit Blanche event. Performing will be Pierre & Stu doing a work in progress exploring body percussion and it’s theatrical elements specifically involving placement in space. Bare Bones Dance has a Facebook page if you would like more information. The show will take place at both 6 & 9 PM Saturday, at 141 rue Ann, The New City Gas Complex. Come check it out.

New addition to the site; a write up for one of the new works that will debut next year. We will title it accordingly when the time comes, but in the mean time feel free to read the write up here.
Montreal Fringe
Imbroglio is pleased to announced that we are officially a part of the Montreal Fringe Festival. So far all we can tell you is that there will be about six shows within the period of June 10-20, 2010. We will be presenting a double bill which will include a stage version of Oppo as well as a new work! More information soon!
